Hydro & Immersion Cooling Maintenance Intensive
Hands-on training in dielectric fluid maintenance, pump servicing, heat exchanger balancing, and thermal throttle remediation.
Curriculum & Practical Scope
Immersion and hydro cooling systems require strict fluid chemistry monitoring, seal integrity inspections, and pump pressure balancing. In this one-day intensive, students learn dielectric fluid sampling, viscosity and breakdown testing, heat exchanger plate cleaning, dry cooler maintenance, and fan-spoofing sensor configuration.
Hands-On Learning Outcomes
- ✓ Perform dielectric fluid testing including particulate count, moisture content, and dielectric breakdown voltage
- ✓ Disassemble and clean brazed plate heat exchangers and dry cooler radiator fins
- ✓ Calibrate flow sensors, pressure relief valves, and automatic shutoff switches
- ✓ Cleanse and prepare air-cooled mining rigs for immersion immersion compatibility
- ✓ Troubleshoot pump cavitation, localized hot spots, and vapor lock inside immersion tanks
Scope & Workshop Boundaries
What is Included
- Access to working single-phase immersion test tanks and closed-loop hydro rigs
- Fluid sampling toolkits and refractometer practice
- Comprehensive Immersion Maintenance Manual and chemical safety guide
- Certificate of Completion
What is Excluded
- Supply of bulk dielectric fluids or custom tank manufacturing
- Off-site plumbing and heavy electrical contractor installation
Target Audience
Facility operators transitioning from air cooling to single-phase or two-phase liquid immersion tanks.
Prerequisites
