1. Overview of Workshop Enrollment

Because our hands-on hardware clinics are strictly limited to 6 to 8 participants per session to ensure dedicated workbench access, customized test fixtures, and individual consumable materials kits, cancellations directly impact class availability and instructor preparation. This policy outlines clear rules for cancellations, rescheduling, and tuition refunds.

2. Cancellation Timeframes & Refund Eligibility

  • More than 14 Days Prior to Session Date: Full 100% refund of all paid tuition fees, minus any nominal bank wire transaction fees.
  • Between 7 and 14 Days Prior to Session Date: 70% refund of tuition fees, or a 100% tuition credit applied toward rescheduling to a future workshop date within 6 months.
  • Between 3 and 6 Days Prior to Session Date: 50% refund of tuition fees, reflecting incurred costs for reserved lab bench time and pre-ordered training hashboard materials.
  • Fewer than 72 Hours Prior or No-Show: Tuition is non-refundable. At our sole discretion, the participant may nominate a colleague from the same company to attend in their place at no extra charge.

3. Workshop Rescheduling Policy

Participants may request to reschedule their enrolled session date up to 7 days before the workshop start date without penalty, subject to open workbench availability in subsequent cohorts. Each registration is entitled to one (1) complimentary rescheduling request.

4. Custom Materials & Consumables

Specialized practice materials, custom ASIC reballing stencil sets, or training hashboards that have already been personalized or shipped to a corporate facility in advance of on-site sessions are non-refundable once dispatched.

5. Cancellations by Cortex Trail Point

In the rare event that Cortex Trail Point must cancel or postpone a scheduled workshop due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., severe weather emergencies, electrical infrastructure outage, or instructor illness), registered participants will be offered the choice of:

  • An immediate 100% full refund of all tuition paid.
  • Priority placement in the next scheduled cohort of their choice.

Cortex Trail Point is not responsible for non-refundable personal travel arrangements, airfares, or hotel accommodations booked by participants.

6. Refund Request Process & Timelines

To initiate a cancellation or refund request, please send written notification from the registered email address to info@cortex-trailpoint.click including:

  1. Full Name and Company Name (if applicable)
  2. Enrolled Workshop Title and Scheduled Date
  3. Reason for cancellation or rescheduling
  4. Bank account details for Korean domestic wire transfer

Approved refunds are processed within 5 to 7 business days via the original method of payment or domestic bank transfer (계좌이체).
